Hi, welcome to our website, we are Duncan & Jo and we live on Narrowboat Wey Aye Man. We travel the UK's network of canals taking landscape and narrowboat photographs. We also have a Youtube channel created by Jo which is called https://www.youtube.com/@travel-photography247 which takes you through our travels; Motorhoming in Europe and Morocco to our transition to Narrowboat Wey Aye Man. The channel will take you from getting Narrowboat Wey Aye Man built by Aintree Boats, through to our maiden voyage and beyond.......
We both served in the Royal Navy and first met each-other onboard HMS Cumberland in 1994 and we have been together ever since. Travel is in our blood; we lived full time in our motorhome "Maggie" for seven years travelling the UK, Europe and Morocco. As much as we loved living and travelling in Maggie we knew there were fresh adventures to be had within our own beloved country and decided to have Narrowboat Wey Aye Man built by Aintree Boats in Liverpool.
Duncan has been a professional photographer since 2012 shooting weddings and portraiture at first. Having spent most of his working life in the Royal Navy and travelling the world he soon learnt that travel was everything to him and decided to combine it with his love of photography. We have travelled the UK and Europe in our Motorhome enjoying the splendours of the world around us. We capture images that we hope will inspire people to visit some of those places. We have travelled over 40,000 miles so far, visiting Germany, Hungary, Romania, Austria, Belgium, Portugal, Spain, France, Italy, Morocco, Wales, England and Scotland. Duncan was raised in the North East of England and it holds a special place in both our heart's and we just love visiting there with our cameras.
